KAILAS, encapsulated by the slogan "MADE TO CLIMB," is dedicated to crafting professional gear and apparel aimed at ensuring climbers' safety and comfort in extreme environments while fostering the global development of climbing and adventure sports. 

Mountain Filming

In an exciting collaboration with KENDAL Mountain Festival, KAILAS introduces 'The Kailas Mountain Film Development Project,' aiming to ignite curiosity and passion for mountain sports while showcasing captivating outdoor stories worldwide. This project serves as a vital platform for international engagement among mountain enthusiasts, outdoor talents, filmmakers, and editors, fostering the creation and support of exceptional mountain-themed films at a global scale. Filmmakers worldwide are invited to apply for funding of up to £20,000 for new film projects between November 2022 and February 28th, 2023. 

The application process entails outlining the proposed story, identifying the intended audience, addressing key challenges, and submitting essential documents, with assessments based on proposal strength, project team expertise, logistical readiness, and narrative potential to embody the 'Mountain Spirit.' Successful applicants will receive funding contingent upon fulfilling specified project criteria, further advancing the exploration and celebration of mountainous landscapes and outdoor pursuits.
